Sandy died Monday morning May 9, 2011 at her home in Hagerstown, Maryland.  Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the dearly loved daughter of Bill and Donna Brown.  As well as her mother and father, she left behind her beloved husband, John Eugene Davis and her two cherished sisters - Robin Lee Brown and Lee Ann Ray.

She earned her diploma from the University of Florida, majoring in Journalism, and went on to a successful career in public relations.

Her beauty, her vibrant personality and delightful sense of humor served her well throughout an adventurous life which included a trip to Africa.

Her friends and loved ones remember her fondly as a bright, witty, wise and interesting companion.

With her talent for writing she recently sought a paralegal certificate online.  Faced with failing health problems, she accomplished mountains of work and received accolades from the university for her scholastic record.  She was striving towards her goal even on the day she died, when a merciful God looked down and said, "Enough.  Come with me."
